Welcome to Fundanoodle! We encourage you to use Fundanoodle as a way to have fun with children as they develop the foundational skills needed for success in school and life. The Fundanoodle Handwriting Program takes a holistic approach toward childhood development. Many activities are targeted to develop gross and fine motor skills and muscle strength. But remember, fun is at the center of our system. Limit practice of fine motor and handwriting skills to 20 or 30 minutes at a time. If you do this, your child's practice sessions will remain fresh and enjoyable.
Since children are full of energy, we recommend starting with floor activities, such as the Muscle Movers Gross Motor Cards, which will give kids the chance to run, hop, jump, and otherwise express themselves. Not only is this approach fun, but these activities help strengthen the core as well as arms and necks. Areas essential for such table work as handwriting, tracing, and cutting.
